The Oratex cover can be used for fuselage, empennage, control surfaces and wings. Within the supplemental type certificate, the entire covering can be exchanged. The material is delivered directly by Lanitz-Prena Folienfactory.
The outrage in the Blaník L13 community was enormous, after EASA grounded all airplanes in 2010. The cause for this drastic measure was a fatal in-flight wing rupture, whose cause was quickly identified by an FEM-analysis of the load path.
For regaining airworthiness of this Type, AD&C has developed a Supplemental Type Certificate, which improves the load path of the critical area.

Steerable tailwheel for the Schemp-Hirth Ventus cM
Being a self-launching glider, it is unfortunate the Ventus cM cannot autonomously taxi to and from the runway. To address this problem, we have developed a change giving the Ventus a steerable tail wheel and thus the autonomy it was lacking.
Towing mass increase
Being the first airplane to have an EASA certified change for dual tow, the Extra 300 can now tow up to 1000 kg and up to 2 gliders.
